Cullerin Range

Cullerin Range was one of Epuron's first wind farm developments, and one of the highest yielding projects for its size in Australia. Epuron was responsible for the green field development including land tenure, wind monitoring, planning approvals and grid connection approvals. Importantly, Epuron was also responsible for procuring the wind turbines from the project, supplied by REpower Australia.

Cullerin Range is an excellent example of a cost effective medium scale project, and continues to outperform its competitors.

A testament to Epuron’s development expertise, this 30 megawatt wind farm provided nation-leading performance in 2010 with the highest output per unit capacity of any wind farm located in the National Electricity Market.

Epuron procured the wind turbines (a combination of REpower MM82 and MM92 machines) and tendered the relevant balance of plant contracts before transferring the site to Origin Energy in 2008 who completed construction of the project.
