The ridges to the east of Lake Burrendong, south east of Wellington in NSW, have strong wind speeds and are currently used for grazing. There are relatively few residences in the area which means the potential for noise and other impacts to residences are minimised.

The map below shows the indicative site layout as well as the location of the existing 330,000 volt (orange) transmission line to the west of Lake Burrendong.
