Information session held in Ravenshoe

Information session in Ravenshoe, 16 September 2021

Epuron hosted its first community information session for Chalumbin Wind Farm in Ravenshoe on Thursday 16 September.

The session, which had been delayed from July due to COVID-related travel restrictions, was well attended with about 100 people.

The project team would like to thank all those who visited the session and who provided feedback on the proposal.

Below are links to download the information materials that were shared on the day including maps of the proposed layout and noise modelling, photomontages and an overview of the project with answers to some frequently asked questions.

More information materials will be prepared to address questions asked during the information session and through feedback forms, and will be published when ready.

We appreciate learning more about the community's priorities and concerns. The project team would also like to thank all those who assisted at the venue and with catering.

The photomontages below show what the proposed wind farm would look like from a couple of viewpoints along the Kennedy Highway where it would be visible. They have been produced using specialist industry software and based on precise distances and the dimensions of the proposed wind turbine to provide accurate scale.
