Bowmans Creek Wind Farm Update - March 2021

EIS on public exhibition

Following two years of ecological studies, technical assessments and community consultation the Bowmans Creek Wind Farm development application and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has been lodged with the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and is now on public exhibition.

The EIS and individual assessments are available under 'Environmental Assessment' on the Downloads page and the Bowmans Creek Wind Farm page in the NSW Planning Portal for Major Projects.

The exhibition period runs for six weeks until 11 May 2021. During this time members of the public have the opportunity to review the EIS and make a formal submission to the Department.

Information sessions

During the exhibition period interested members of the community are also invited to attend an information session to learn more about the final project proposal and EIS:

  • McCully’s Gap - Thursday 15 April, McCully’s Gap Community Hall, 1052 Sandy Creek Road
  • Hebden - Friday 16 April, Hebden Hall, Hebden Road

Please note: to provide greater opportunity for discussion these sessions will be run in small groups from 2pm to 6pm. Each session will run for approximately 30 minutes and be guided by a member of the project team.

Due to limited sessions and COVID protocols booking is essential. To book your preferred time between 2-6 pm please contact Sonya at Hansen Bailey on 6575 2000 any weekday between 9am-3:30pm.
