The Gurindji Aboriginal Corporation is a community-owned enterprise and the Prescribed Body Corporate for the Kalkaringi Township native title area. The Gurindji Aboriginal Corporation use local people to manage the community centre, do local maintenance work and promote the annual Freedom Day Festival.

TKLN Solar Pty Ltd contracts Gurindji Aboriginal Corporation to do licenced electrical maintenance, vegetation maintenance and general cleaning and servicing of the local 408 kWp solar power station in Kalkarindji.

The annual Freedom Day Festival is held each August to commemorate the 1966 Wave Hill Walk-off and birth of Aboriginal Land Rights. TKLN Solar has donated to support the Freedom Day Festival as part of supporting the community where we generate solar energy since 2012.
