Since the last project update Epuron’s ongoing focus has been on the route of the underground powerline which will connect the wind farm to the Port Latta substation.

A number of properties along the proposed corridor have changed ownership and we have been working with landowners, community groups and government agencies to identify a route that minimises impacts and is technically feasible.

We are also adding the final details of our completed surveys to the Development Proposal and Environmental Management Plan (DPEMP) so we can lodge this with the EPA Tasmania and submit the Development Application (DA) to the Circular Head Council.

Community Wind Farm Fund
Alongside the benefits of local jobs during construction and an increase in demand for services in the region, the wind farm would also benefit the community through the establishment of the Stanley community wind farm fund.
